All-On-4 Plus®
All-On-4 Plus® in Greenvale, Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park, and Melbourne
Been told most of your teeth are failing, and dreading a future of dentures? All-On-4 Plus® at Greenvale Dental House replaces a full arch with fixed teeth, set on a few implants.
When a Whole Arch Is Failing
Reaching the point where most of an arch is failing is a hard place to be. Years of treatment, loose or painful teeth, and the looming question of what comes next. For many people the worry is dentures: a plate that moves, clicks, or has to come out at night.
All-On-4 Plus® offers a fixed alternative. Four or more implants are placed across the arch, and a full set of custom teeth, called Immediate Final Teeth™, is fitted within 24 to 48 hours of surgery. Not a placeholder, but your actual final teeth.
How All-On-4 Plus® Works
The four implants are placed at planned angles, with the rear two tilted to make the most of the bone you have. That angling is part of how the treatment often avoids the extensive grafting other approaches might need, even where some bone has already been lost.
The process follows a set protocol: detailed digital planning with 3D scanning and Digital Smile Design, preparing the bone and gums, placing the implants, then fitting your Immediate Final Teeth™ within a day or two. Suitability still comes down to your bone, your general health, and a full assessment, and outcomes vary from person to person.
Is Full-Arch Treatment Right for You?
Every case needs careful assessment before anything is recommended. Generally, a few things need to align.
You Have Extensive Tooth Loss in an Arch
Most or all of the teeth in one or both arches are missing or failing, and you want a fixed, long-term option rather than a removable denture.
You Have Some Bone to Build On
The angled implants are designed to work with the bone you have. Even with some bone loss you may still be suitable, though extra implants or targeted grafting can be recommended where the bone calls for it.
You Are Ready for the Day and What Follows
All-On-4 Plus® involves a full day of surgery and professional maintenance every three to six months afterwards. Staying with that follow-up care matters for the long-term result.
From Planning to Your New Teeth
Every case is planned individually, but the All-On-4 Plus® protocol generally runs like this.

Digital Planning and Facial Analysis
A 3D CBCT scan, facial photographs, and Digital Smile Design map your bone, bite, and facial balance, and let us simulate your new teeth before surgery. (1 visit, about 90 to 120 minutes)

Preparing the Bone and Gums
On the day, the implant sites are prepared by reshaping the jawbone and contouring the gums into a level, hygienic base for the new teeth.

Placing the Implants
Four or more implants are placed in the positions planned from your scans, angled to make the most of the bone and reduce the need for grafting. (Full-day appointment, about 3 to 4 hours)

Fitting Your Immediate Final Teeth™
Your custom Immediate Final Teeth™ are fitted within 24 to 48 hours of surgery, shaped to your gums, bite, and smile line.

Ongoing Maintenance
Regular professional maintenance keeps the implants and the new teeth healthy over time. (Every 3 to 6 months, ongoing)
Risks and Recovery
All-On-4 Plus® is major surgery, so understanding the risks and what recovery involves is an important part of deciding.
Possible risks include:
- Swelling, bruising, or tenderness in the days after surgery
- Some bleeding while the area first heals
- Infection or slower healing at the implant sites
- An implant failing to integrate with the bone, which can mean it does not take
Recovery considerations:
- Early healing usually takes one to two weeks
- Full integration with the bone takes several months, during which your Immediate Final Teeth™ stay in place
- A softer diet is needed early on to protect the implants
- Professional maintenance every three to six months is essential for the long-term result

Any questions?

What are Immediate Final Teeth™?
They are your actual final teeth, not a temporary bridge. Designed with Digital Smile Design and milled from hard-wearing materials, they are fitted within 24 to 48 hours of surgery. The implants keep integrating with the bone over the following months, but your teeth are in place from the start.
Will I need bone grafting?
Often not. The angled placement is built to make the most of the bone you have, so grafting can frequently be avoided even where some has been lost. Where the bone or your bite calls for it, extra implants or targeted grafting may be suggested at assessment.
What does the ongoing maintenance involve?
A professional clean and check around the implants every three to six months, keeping an eye on the bone and gum health. We will also show you the home-care routine that suits your particular set of teeth.
