Dr Richard is a general dentist who obtained his dental degree at La Trobe University. Before becoming a dentist, Richard worked as an Ambulance Paramedic and has extensive knowledge in dental and medical emergencies.
Dr Richard brings a calming presence to the room and loves putting everyone at ease with his gentle manner. He has specific expertise in dental surgery, especially wisdom teeth. Richard understands there can be some anxiety regarding these procedures, and uses all available techniques to make your visit as relaxed as possible including “Happy Gas” where needed.
Dr Richard won the ANZ Society of Paediatrics award for excellence in Children’s Dentistry, and enjoys treating patients of all ages.
Outside of work, Richard loves spending time with his two young children bike riding, playing tennis, watching movies or taking his dog Indie (his third child) for a walk. He loves the gym so he can work off all the delicious food he loves cooking and eating.
